hiv retest?going crazy,herpes?

hello
i tested for hiv at 13 weeks,and it was neg.6 weeks befor i was told that i had hsv-2,but i have not had any sore's
but i have had some pain inside my penis,tested for everything else,but all neg. i just wanna know if i was going thru acute hiv,would i have a bad break-out with sore's?i am going crazy,please help dose anyone no why it take 6 months to develope antibodies in some? thank's,equal-man

If you've tested negative at 13 weeks, your negative. The only way it would take longer to produce antibodies is if you have an auto-immune disorder, have been an IV drug user, or are on chemo or immune suppresent therepy. You can test at 6 months, but it would only be for peace of mind, not becuase you have to. Having HSV 2 is no big deal, most people have been exposed to herpes at some point in there life. If you are having pain, go see a doctor, but it's not related to HIV.

[/quote]i have also had little white dots with hair growing out of them on the uderside of the base of my penis(folliculitis)thank you ...equal-man
