If 50% would present by week 4 what is the percentage for week 6? Should I test at week 8 or just wait out till the 3 month mark?

If you were in Mass. and you used an FDA approved test no further testing would be recommended. So its up to you. If your not stressed wait till 3 months IF you are stressed get one at 8 wks. Of course they to will be neg. But I guess some folks just need to punish themselves.

I've had a 4 and 6 week neg. First was by a 3rd gen. The 6 week was by Home Access but I'm still feeling sick. Full of phlegm, stiff neck, muscle twitches and burning in feet and toes. I would love to accept the 6 week.. I was hoping it would make my symptoms disapear. I'm thinking one more test probally 8 weeks. If there was clearer literature on 6 weeks being definitive I would accept it.

I've heard that Home Access actually uses 2 Elisas per sample so that makes me think one of em would have caught anti bodies at 6 weeks but is it enough time for them to present?

just listened to a radio show with a Dr. Silverman and he is a HIV doc he said the test we are using now are so accurate that elisa shows positive in just a few weeks

The WHO and Mass say its 6 weeks and boy would I like to feel concrete in my negative 4 and 6 but I've got these symptoms which are probally from worrying. So untill they go away I will probally test till 3 months. If I didnt get mixed messages from counselours. Like being told by some idiot at my clinic that I had tested through the window by testing at 4 weeks and being told by experts here that I had a no risk incident but being told by someone in the er that I could have gotten pep than I would feel alot more confident.
