over the last year i had some unsafe sexual acts,my question is ive had this tongue problem for a while and was wondering ive heard b12 deficiency is a sign of hiv infection, is this true?ive had a cbc test done and all was in normal range, just looking for feedback on this,have a great day...........

B-12 deficiency can be caused by lots of things, HIV is just one of the things that can cause it. Normally it is not a problem until later in the infection. The best thing to do if you are unsure of your status is not to worry about symptoms, but to test.

do yourself a favor, go get the HIV test. Testing is the only way you can possible no.
