HOME ACCESS is the ONLY home test one should use
      #13433 - 12/09/00 10:36 PM

If you used the HOMEACCESS (FDA approved) HIV anti-body test, and it was >6 months past your last test,
you are HIV negative. The test is FDA approved, which is the government's way of saying it's safe and very reliable. It is the same
test used by labs testing for HIV. The diffierence is you get the result via the phone and this could be harmful if you tested positive.
There is a fear some people would hurt themself with a positive result over the phone without one-on-one counseling. Your fear is
understandable. However, you can be re-assured by the accuracy of the HOMEACCESS test kit. I believe it is the only one the FDA
actually approved.
I think they pulled a couple off the shelves.
Best wishes
