Hi all, hope you're doing well.

I am awaiting the results of a conclusive test. The funny thing is, everyone tells me my FIRST test was conclusive, but I felt the need to have another. Thus, I think I have some irrational fears related to HIV. It seems so ridiculous for me, heck I'm just a couple years from being a doctor, and I know my colleagues would laugh me out of the lab if they knew. But every time I take care of a patient with HIV, I find myself doubting my test result and just feeling really sad! I really want to contribute to the HIV/AIDS crusade but sometimes I don't feel that I'm "hardened" enough to be of any real help. I tend to get very caught up in things and end up just sort of "fussing over" the patients. Are there any resources to help folks with "HIV anxiety?"
