Time to END THIS............
      #12230 - 11/14/00 03:15 AM

I don't have the balls to call the girl I slept with, and I'm so stressed over still thinking I'm HIV POS, I have decided to see an ID or HIV specialist this week. To let you all know, I tested negative on many different ELISA's 1/2 done at 3 differnt labs, one PCR 50 copies all done out to almost 8 months. Yet I'm still having the oddest symptoms: coating on tongue, joint pain, and to many others to mention. No offense to you all on this board, but I do not wish to come here anymore, but I find myself coming here to see if anyone else is in my position. I apperciate all the support you have all showed me, in regards to believing my many negative test, but I was going through my symptoms long before I ever did an HIV internet screach, or had any idea what were common symptoms of HIV. I intend to have every test know to god and man done to shut the door on this, once and for all. The two outcomes are either: I'm infected or I'm not, but either way I will be a better person out of this whole nightmare. One thing many of you do, is assume that if you are indeed infected your life is over. One very strong lady who visits this site day after day, and is infected, knows that HIV is not a death sentence. She is so positive and supportive to so many of you, it has touched me in a very special way. This lady does not know you, nor does she judge you. I have read her posts for a few months now, and just let me say to her,"God will have a very special place in heaven for you, Jackie". How many of you would be able to keep coming back to this board if you were indeed infected, and listen to hundreds of you say "may life is over". She is proof that having HIV is not a death sentence. Whatever I find out after visiting the doctors this week, will be the start of a new life for me. Either way, my life is going to be better. And just a thank you to Jackie, for making me understand what the words boundless compassion mean, and hopefully god will see clear to allowing you to remain with us for many many many years to come. I will post what the final outcome is, and please keep me in our prayers, as I will you all.

My friend. How are you? Listen to me. If you read my posts, I also had no idea what common symptoms of Hiv were. I had my symptoms before I started researching. Now I have a few more. Some which people haven't mentioned. I would give anything to be in your position I'm only in my 10th week. Take your test if you must. I hope you get the results you're looking for. I know you will. You're in my prayers.

you are wrong, you also liked my football analogy. Before I was standing on the wrong side of the plate, and i'm sorry about that.
I have seen the light. You can thank Jackie for that.

Read my past posts "QQQ" I have all the same symptoms and have tested negative out to 6 months and 10 days. Your tounge might be stress and the foods you eat. Could be chronic fatique, lupus or irritable bowel syndorme, but if you tested out to 8 months and your still negative then stop thinking about just HIV. If and when you find out what you do have, please come back and post, because I am trying to fiqure out what I have too. It can't be HIV because the girl who I was with, I did call and she said she took a home test and it was negative at 5 months after we were together. Don't forget to post when you find out what it is. Also check out the web forum on irriatable bowel syndrome. There is woman there who has the same oral health problems.
