fever symptom

Percentage wise, what are the approximate numbers that people who get infected will come up with a fever as a symptom. I hear from 50% to some saying 95%. That's simply too much of a discrepancy. Anyone have an idea?

Since fever is a symptom of about 10,753 ailments, having a fever is no way to determine if you have HIV.

During the ARS fever is present in about 96 of symptomatic patients It is said generally is present
