Hi I read your forum and I think a lot of guys here are very cool. Well my question is: I was drinking at the bar(I'm a man) with a friend and his buddy and I finished to spend the night in their bed naked, and I had a cut on my elbow which was made a few hours before when I was totally drunk. In the morning, the guy that I don't know started to perfomed oral sex on for like 10 to 15min (even deep throat), I saw no cut on my penis but I don't know about his oral health. Anyway right after, I washed my penis and pissed also. Like 3-4 weeks afte rthat possible exposure, I have headaches which I rarely have, and lasted until now. My back hurts also. And I eat less ( but I know I've been stressing so much). So at 3 weeks I took an Oraquick test which was negative. At 6 weeks I took a DNA-PCR and Elisa test thru ehivtest.com ( using Labcorp) and they came out all negative. Is it a good sign? I'm very tired now of all the stress because usually I never put myself into that kind of situation. Thank you for your answers. Best regard

The Elisa/DNA PCR at week six pretty much rules out HIV. But you should have educated yourself about how HIV is transmitted and how it is NOT. It would have saved you weeks of stress and hundreds of dollars. Recieving oral sex does not post a risk for HIV transmission. In anycase your tests rule out and chance of you being infected.

a 6 week negative = you are hiv negative UNLESS you are a IV drug user or have any of the immune system defects

Is also the fact that I'm uncut can increase my risk?

Does somebody tells me if a dna pcr/elisa at 6 weeks is accurate to rule out hiv? I've been feeling sick even 8 weeks after that possible exposure. thank you for your answers

You did not even have to test for an insertive blow job.
As to your question about testing... The vast majority of folks will seroconvert (produce antibodies) within 4 to 6 weeks. Hence, 6 six week ELISA is a great indicator of your HIV status. Now if you were a late seroconvertor, a DNA PCR would most surely pick up the presence of the actual virus.
Again, this is a mute point since you had essentially no risk.
Seek medical treatment for what is bothering you. I has nothing to due with HIV.
Cheers

Thanks a lot Jazz
I was worried because I'm very rarely sick and since then, I have headaches all the time, and my ears hurt a little inside. I also feel weak. Even though I feel more confident about my status.

I'm also worried because I have a redness on my penis that comes and go and it kinda burn, I saw the doctor and he told me that was nothing.. no other STD's . So it makes me even more worried to know that I have this thing, even tho I never had anything like this before.... can it be ARS even tho everybody says that 6 weeks dna pcr/elisa rules out infection?
