I have reason to believe I was infected (probably a few years ago) based on some symptoms I have been having (I know you can't base on symptoms alone) and am getting my test results later today. I have spent the last couple of weeks reading a lot about the disease and treatment, etc. and feel better about living with this than I did when the fear first set in. So, I guess I feel pretty mentally prepared to deal with the result, whatever it may be. But I am still a little scared that I may freak when I actually get the results. Anyone out there have a similar experience or any advice?

I wish you the best. Let us know when you get your result. I was exposed and am waiting to get tested at 6 months. Atleast your results, whatever they may be, will be conclusive, huh? I know the way you feel, I sometimes think I can deal with it and just start to accept it but then other times I panick and can't stop. Good Luck.

Why take a 6 month test when a 3 month test is conclusively enough? I cant understand!
