Hello,
I had a possible exposure to HIV 2 days back. I engaged in protected vaginal sex (latex condom) with a sex worker. I suckled her breasts - and noticed that upon squeezing them a thick white sticky fluid was secreted (possibly some sort of breast infection). I am sure that I must have got some on my lips. I stopped immediately, and maybe in 5 minutes time I cleaned my mouth. I don't have any cuts or sores in my mouth.
What is the risk of me getting infected ?
I wish to take a DNA PCR (so that i can stop worrying). I hear it can reliably detect HIV-I/II 72 hours after infection ? When is the shortest time I can wait before getting a DNA PCR ?
Please do help me.
sincerely anonymous.

The same thing happened to me. I asked my doctor, and he said it will not carry the virus. I further tested 3 mos later and was negative. Don't sweat it, your ok.
