cuts and scraches

does any one ever hear of an infectiopn due to fluids getting into a cut. I had a pro lick my hand where there were cuts that wre a few days old, i wiped my hand but you hever know. Also how about fingering with cuts. Has anyone ever been in this situation before, and how did the tests go.
