Just wondering what the details of EBV are? What is it? What does it do?

EBV Stands for Epstein Barr Virus...Which usually is described As Mono or the "kissing disease" in younger people.EBV has been shown to be a big player in Some Major diseases...it has long been shown that EBV May be one of the triggers for CFS..thats has yet to been proven,but none the less.Some people can Devlop EBV and have it for up to 8 months..though usually its gone within a month.You might want to read up on it some..Its a pretty interesting virus...seems to be very famous.

If you ever had mono as a kid, you know what EBV is all about. However, few people know that it can recur later in life, and not necessarily just with that infamous sore throat. I'd suggest you might like to put "epstein-barr virus" or "chronic fatigue syndrome" in on yahoo or a search engine and just read up on it a bit. my doc says a reactivated EBV is what I had when I thought I had hiv.
