What is with 3 months vs 6 months? Get Dr. Bob!
      #110751 - 08/24/04 07:57 PM

I am so confused why Dr. Bob say 6 months if you are exposed to known + HIV person. Also, many here seems to support 6 months, while some do support 3 months. This is really ridiculous! Can someone tell the truth? Go get Dr. Bob to answer this. What is the deal with Hep? If the guy Hep as well as HIV then you need AT LEAST 6 months? Most HIV people got Hep also so you would be exposed to both if the guy was HIV +?

this is exactly my problem, i was exposed to hep b and now im worried that my 3 and 6 month hiv tests are not accurate. i have had every symptom of hiv and knowing that i got hep b makes me think that both infections in my body at the same time hiv is not producing antibodies at 6 months. i havent heard back from dr bob or the other doctors
