Too much confusion everywhere about testing. Do you need to take a test at 6 months or not? I had many symtoms like everyone else. I had too many tests already, but no PCR test just ELISA. I tested out to 4 months or almost 19 weeks after my unprotected RECEPTIVE sex. The CDC says this is a high risk exposure. So, does anyone know if I should test again? What or where are the stats I can find for anyone who has seroconverted after 4 months? Thanks.

If it's high risk by the CDC, then retest.
Check the archives and you will see that there are no 4 month stats but many docs advise retesting at 6 months to be sure.
Dont worry, it should be negative

High risk or not 4 months is fine you are NEG. The six month standard is really for folks that have complications from other things. look the bottom line is if you are still a basket case after 4 months you will continue to be until you test out to 6 months. So get tested @ six months. you will still be NEG and then wonder why the hell you did this to yourself.

Some say six month testing is outdated information. Others say it is needed. What a mess to have to live thru for six damn months. I hate this window period stuff.
