I had a "risky" exposure in the sense that someone fingered my anus (with no penetration as such) but the finger felt sticky/moist. I now think there could have been semen on the finger.
3 weeks after the incident, my glands are up, and I went through a fase of anorexia/no apetite and lost weight.
My glands are still up 2 months after. Now, the thing is, it's only the glands on my neck, none ander the armpits or groins.
In the initial infection stage, should not all the glands be up, or can you only just have the neck ones up?
I am very scared and stressed about this like you would not believe, given that I hardly ever have sex, and any that I do I'm always so careful......
P.S. The strange thing is, I did not worry too much at the time. When I came back from holiday, it wasn't even an issue, until my glands came up. I'm worried that the symptoms are not self induced as I was not worrying about it. I have had some initial blood tests done (lymphocyte counts etc) and the doctor said that everything was normal and a good sign for my upcoming HIV antibody test in a few weeks time....
Any feedback would be most appreciated.
