TOKYO — The number of newly infected HIV patients between late March and late June came to 199, a record high for a three-month period, a health ministry panel said Monday.
The figure exceeded the previous high of 194, which was recorded in the October-December period last year, according to the panel of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare
This is just in a month or two. HIV infection is REAL

Unlike my post which included a link to the official statistics on 'AIDS' for Japan, this clipping has NO REFERENCES and provides no evidence for these wild estimates.
The press, both here and abroad, never check the facts in these scare stories and most have no foundation in reality.
Either provide references or withdraw this insane post.

THE ARTICLE SAID
"Last year, the new cases testing positive for the HIV virus that were reported to the Ministry of Health and Welfare reached a 672,"
672 in an entire year. Nothing about teens or any other data. No explination of how they had these figures BEFORE official figures were published or available.
Pure scare journalism with little or no foundation in fact.

i guess I don't get your point. I have already said i know this thing is being hyped for$$. Are you in the camp that HIV is not the cause of AIDS? Are you saying Africa does not have an epidemic? What exacticaly is your point?
