Seems like I am doing anything possible not to have faith in a negative elisa and dna pcr at six weeks. I called Labcorp and they said they use a 2nd generation elisa. Should this matter in this scenario, with both tests? I'm surprised that such a large company uses 2nd generation.

Even the top labs in South Africa use a 2nd generation ELISA but they told me to wait out 3 months. I guess you are fine because of your PCR result as well. My ELISA at 6 weeks was negative 2nd generation. What do you think of that?

If you are that unsure...ease your mind...go get tested at another lab and don't worry so much about the specifics. If you are negative, let it go and enjoy your life. :)
