With regards to anal sex, what is the risk of transmission for
each partner? Is the risk just as high for the "giver" as it is
for the "taker"? Assuming the penis involved had no
cuts/abrasions, what are the chances of transmission through the
urethra during anal intercourse?

Re: anal sex risk. It's such a difficult question. There's no way
to put a number on the risk since it depends on so many
factors--how infective the other person is, the state of your
immune system, whether you have other stds, etc. It is generally
less risky for the insertive partner--although there are many
people who were infected this way--NO condom, you got a risk,
particulary with anal sex--cause with anal sex you are exposed to
blood--anyway I wouldn't chance it without a condom.
