This may be a long shot but I need to try anyway. I know my brother in-law was following this board for a while and posted under the name "Stupid". He was diagnosed hiv positive a few weeks back. I have read his posts and don't see the answer i'm looking for. If any of you communicated with him on a more personal level maybe via e-mail or telephone, please reply. He seemed to be doing fairly well and dealing with this as best one could hope for. We're just not sure what caused him to snap so suddenly and take his own life. If any of you have insight to this from personal communication with him please reply. I know you may think you can't help but I need to give my sister something. Anything. Maybe he was fooling us the whole time but i just don't think so. Thank you.

first off i am sorry for your loss, there really isn't much out there that may help you with what you need.read the postand replies on 9/27 titled "still around" i do not know if it will help but he does reference a possibility. also in more than one post he mentioned being drunk. i do not know if this was an on going thing or not but it was mentioned. a lot of people doubted how he aquired hiv maybe that added to the stress but all had sympathised and offered support and apologies for their doubt. it is hard on this board because of the fear to accept that people do become positive after low risk exposure but have also come to realize that most people do not come out with the whole picture at first if they ever really do. again i really am sorry about what has happened to your family it is a tragic loss. my thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family. ...............mc

You need to give your sister something or is it your wife? Sorry to be doubting, but something sounds fishy....
