hi can anyone tell me does hiv hide in the muscles, i after exposure condum broke while inserted female 9 months tested 1 month, 5months 9months, all neg but 3 months pain in hips neck groin felt like burning then all these spots seem to swell now more swelling legs muscle real big and getting week since ankle starting to swell back of neck just below skull lump of fat or swelled up doc doesnt find anything wrong in my blood work ,i read a person from utah in 1996 did not show up pos and had hiv could it be me too im worried any thoughts would be helpful.thanksl

you have tested well beyond the window. If you have had no other risky sexual exploits, than that negative is indeed negative. Treasure that and stay safe.
