HIV can not be transmitted via receiving oral since HIV is not found in saliva. Giving oral, there is a very small rish but only if there is blood involved on both ends. So in general, no except for in very rare cases.

You'll have to be clearer in your question. Are you talking about receiving or giving? Are you talking about receiving or giving sex to a man or a woman. The risks vary. And all are risky for other sexually transmitted diseases!

But what about insertive oral sex (receiving) if you have chaffing on your penis (from alot of masturbation)? Is it likely it could be transmitted in that way - perhaps if there was blood in the mouth? Would there have to be a lot of blood? I think that I will be the first documented case of transmission with insertive oral... what do you think?

hiv is found in saliva (how else would orasure tests work if it wasn't?). it is a yes or no question, and the answer is yes. probability is a different question....and the answer is low.

HIV is not test4ed for in the standard HIV test, the bodies responce to HIV infection its tested for aka the antibodies which arte in spit ( if you are hiv +ve). therefor the HIV test you are refering to can show a +ve result even though there is NO HIV IN SPIT. Now stop worrying folks and read things properly!!!!
