I took a antibody and PCR test at 42 days (6 weeks). Both came back negative. Is it okay to stop worrying and get on with my life??? The test was expensive, but if it means I don't have HIV, its worth it.

A DNA/PCR NEG @ 42 days is excellent. Again PCR is very sensitive and a NEG is a NEG with only a slight chance of a false poz. That is the case with any test. Couple that with a 6wk neg antibody I would sleep well tonight. Remember a lot of others would love to have your results. D.J.
