Black Rings

I have Black rings around my eyes, like stress bags, but all the way around my eye. My question being: What could this be a symptom of? I have taken a blood test and the results were negitive, the 90 day test I havn't taken yet. I have talked with people who are infected with the HIV viruse, and none of them had the black rings. Also, I have been fatiuged lately, and haven't had much energy to do anything.

I am a medical resident and there can be many causes for having rings under or around the eye. Most prominent is allergies. Nevertheless, if you feel that you have risk factors for HIV, then go get a HIV-1 test done.

The best advice would of course come from your doctor.
However,( April showers bring May flowers and seasonal allergies) we are into allergy season and as a Nurse I see many patients with what we call 'allery shinners"... black circles under their eyes. Glad to hear your test was negative.

Better yet go find a doctor that will treat you as if you are going to live not die. Stay away from the ones who ask you to get "tested" they are evil and corrupt. I speak from experience my brother.
