Seeking Artists with AIDS Nationwide

Hello:
I am trying to do some research to find out how many Artists with AIDS there might be living and working in the USA, and how I can reach out to them? I am hoping to start a national
service for artists with AIDS, to try to fill the gap for those on government
assistance and the high costs of their career growth, raising funds for college application fees, entry fees for art contests, and fees for participation in calls to artists. We also want to be an outlet where Artists with AIDS can post their work free of charge, and blog about contemporary art and the way it impacts our lives.
We plan to reach out to artists who practice:
Painting
Sculpture
Printmaking
Installation Art
Video Fine Art
Fine Art Photography
Ceramic Art
and Photography
Do you know of any way I can find this kind of specific audience? If not, who do you think might could help me out with these kinds of things? I know I am not the only one fighting financially to keep up with other artists. I am sure there are others out there like me! I feel it's time to fight back using corporate funding, crowd source funding, and other sources of mass wealth that can surely be tapped into somehow. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Alan, I am very interested but don't quite understand what your looking for in regards to artwork and Aids. Hubby and I participated with a show out of Red Bank Nj many years ago with the Healing Arts .It was based on those in fected and affected with Aids. It was an amazing showing of art work. Unbelievable talent. My hubby had one wall though it was a small wall, but still to show his stugg. It was 2 floors filled with artwork. I hope you find what you are loking for.

You can conduct research online and find artists with aids in the US through Yahoo Groups and many forums by using keywords like "artists with aids."

Have you tried getting in touch with others that are posted in this catagoy? And if you look deeper into this web site you will find where there is some artists that have their works displayed. Best of luck you to and your endeavors.
