SALARY RANGE:
$30,500 - $40,000 plus benefits.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Gay Men’s Coordinator (GMC) is an essential part of the Institute's Mobilization and Logistics teams. The GMC is responsible for developing and implementing all Gay Men’s programming. The GMC is responsible for spearheading the annual Black Gay Men’s Retreat and all follow-up activities. In addition, the GMC assists the logistics department with preparing material to be mailed and with maintaining the video archives and a record of all media hits for the organization. The GMC also assists with preparation for the Institute's presence at conferences, including inventory of exhibit booth materials.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Web navigation and implementation skills.
Other Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to exercise discretion and tact in all interpersonal contacts, and to maintain confidentiality at all times. Ability to work independently and accurately with minimal direct supervision. Ability to manage multiple tasks.

A team player is a must.
