The Ryan Center is an independent not-for-profit community health center serving the health care needs of residents of Northern Manhattan for more than 30 years. As an integral component of Ryan's health services for people living with HIV/AIDS is the Mental Health Program for Adults. They offer HIV/AIDS support and treatment with a Special Health Outreach to Urban Teens (S.H.O.U.T.) provides access to primary and preventive health care services to at-risk and HIV-infected adolescents. S.H.O.U.T. works in conjunction with the Ryan Center's HIV Services Department offering HIV Prevention Education and Outreach, Mental Health Counseling and Substance Abuse Counseling and Primary Care to patients 13 to 24 years of age.

The Ryan Center has been at the forefront of community health care and is dedicated to making the most up-to-date treatment options available to its patients. The HIV Clinical Care Coordinator will ensure the delivery of integrated comprehensive medical services to Ryan-NENA's HIV/AIDS population, assuring that HIV/AIDS infected individuals receive the highest quality of case managed care throughout all areas of the Center. To assume administrative responsibility for the collection of data and submission of all required programmatic statistics and reports. The incumbent will maintain a panel of HIV Primary Care patients. This position reports to the Director of Special Services.

The Ideal Candidate: Nurse Practitioner: MS in Nursing; Physician Assistant: BA/BS. Current New York State licensed Nurse Practitioner- or current New York State Licensed Physician's Assistant, HIV Counseling certification preferred. Minimum of three (3) years experience in a clinical setting and two (2) years of administrative/supervisory experience in ambulatory public or community health setting. Bilingual preferred.
