Sr BCI Officer - FHI/Impact Cambodia

Family Health International/IMPACT Cambodia is seeking a highly qualified
Behavior Change Communication Specialist with experience in BCC strategy
development and BCI program implementation to join its STD/HIV/AIDS
Prevention and Care Project.

The Senior BCI Officer will assist the FHI/Cambodia Country Director, as
well as Assessment, Monitoring, Evaluation and Communication staff, and
Intervention Unit staff in the design and implementation of an overall
behavior change communication strategy for FHI in Cambodia and of specific
behavior change interventions (BCI). This involves capacity building of
FHI/Cambodia and implementing agency (IA) staff and guidance of BCI
projects and BCC material production processes.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

a.. Demonstrated understanding of BCC process [ability to apply process to
develop and implement strategies - from development through to monitoring
and evaluation]
b.. Demonstrated experience in design and implementation of Behavior Change
Communication Programs
c.. Strong organizational skills
d.. Strategic thinker
e.. Ability to work independently and as a team member
f.. Good group training and facilitation skills.
g.. Able to identify and assess additional needed resources [e.g. private
media companies] and to develop scopes of work for BCC consultants and to
supervise their work
h.. Able to develop tender documents for bids in collaboration with
Admin/finance staff [contracts]

Ability to train and communicate planning, monitoring, evaluation and
research methodologies

Able to work collaboratively and to monitor BCC related work with outside
agencies
