The International Center for Equal Healthcare Access (ICEHA) is recruiting experienced physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and physician assistants to volunteer for up to 12 weeks in developing countries. Using clinical mentoring techniques, volunteers provide HIV bed-side training to local healthcare providers. ICEHA is a network of healthcare providers who volunteer technical assistance on HIV care and infectious diseases to clinics in developing countries. ICEHA’s clinical mentoring program was developed specifically for the rapid scale-up of skills of the local healthcare staff, strengthening the quality of healthcare delivered in developing countries so that countries can fight the HIV epidemic from within. More information, including a volunteer application, is available online at www.iceha.org or by emailing Katie Graves-Abe at kgravesabe@iceha.org.
