LIFEbeat – The Music Industry Fights AIDS is looking to fill the Local Tour Outreach Coordinator position. We are seeking a trained peer educator to organize volunteers for outreach in clubs and concert venues in and around Manhattan. Responsibilities include:
•Excellent communication skills
•Should relate well with peers and have the resources to educate others about HIV/AIDS prevention education
•Will be expected to communicate often with volunteer base and should work to foster a welcoming and positive environment
•Must be extremely organized and keep track of volunteer activity, inventory, and venue relations.
•Will be responsible for volunteer recruiting and training.
•Must be willing and available to work in the evenings and some weekends.
If you want to make a difference and love music, this is the job for you! Starting salary is $30k with great benefits. This is a full time position.
