Hello! My name is Roscoe, and I have been HIV+ since 1982. I have done very well with the disease up until 2002, when I developed Kaposi's Sarcoma, and it has really affected my body in unexpected ways. I am currently on DOXIL and taxol systemically. I also started using PanRetin gel. The disease continues to move forward, in spite of best efforts.
I live with my partner in Western North Carolina. We both grew up in the same litte town, but only got together 3 years ago. I enjoy planting flowers and shrubs, when my feet allow me to dig the holes. I also have several bird feeders up in the back yard, so I have a great bird community around here. I get assistance with house cleaning through a program funded with Ryan White funds. It's actually called a sitting service, but all the volunteers want to clean my house!
I am a 48 year old gwm, brown hair, blue eyes, 178lbs.
I have an 8 year old cat named Missy, and she is pretty good company too.

Hi Roscoe,
I just stumbled on your ad. I was diagnosed in 1986, sero-converted in '85. I am in pretty good health, completely mobile, but lack of energy is my biggest problem.
