I recently had sex with a guy and we always used condoms. I am HIV negative and normally very careful. We had sex with a condom, but used precum from his penis to lubricate my anus. A few days later he told me that he's actually positive and didn’t tell me because he's in love with me and he didn’t want to lose me. Needless to say I am very concerned and angry now. Is there a possibility that I caught HIV?

I'm confused how he did that without you knowing until afterwards?

possible but not probable. But you got to get tested for all sexually transmitted diseases to know for sure. Don't use precum to lubricate...It has more HIV in it then regular cum.

Hello, Most replys here for you are correct. Except Precum as less amount of HIV Virus. Also once cum is in contact with air, the virus dies. Your risk is very low of being infected, but still get tested, 3 months is correct. Also if the other person really loved you he would not take your health for granted and would have told you before your sexual encounter. If you love someone you don't hurt them. Take care.
