lack of therapeutic options, what to do?
      #2793 - 04/05/00 12:52 PM

I'm someone who tested positive 14 years ago. I've had below 100
CD4 for most of the past 10 years, and have been through a lot, but
was saved by protease inhibitors, just in time.
Today, I'm resistant to ALL available meds (based on genotype and
phenotype tests), have below 20 CD4 count, am waiting for current
viral load results, and have been off all antivirals for 4 months. I
can't find any trials for Viramune, or IL2, or ABT 378, or anything
else which might help someone like me. Any leads out there?
Believe me, I appreciate any help you might have.

See a homeopathic they would be able to help you.Its alternative to
western medicine. It might help you. Or I,ve heard they have new
therapies in Sydney Australia at St Vincents Hospital. This is a Hiv
Hospital. Try abroad USA might only have there therapies as
Australia has different ask your doctor. Or Email to St Vincents
Hospital or Aids Council of NSW. I,m sorry I don,t know there
Email addresses. I hope this information helps you.

Thanks for your reply. I've done research, as well as discussed it
all with my doctor.
I've gone back to the strategy I used in '85, when there were no
meds, like vegetable juicing, eating organic, maintaining a yoga and
gym routine. I'm using a lot of knowledge I've picked up over the
years from holistic practitioners, and I'll check out St. Vincent's.
I've always wanted to see Australia (if they pay)
