Advice...

Does HIV and/or the medication make you feel less sexual? After my diagnoses I dnt really feel as sexy or in touch with my sexuality as I used to. Does or has any one else experience this??....

it is normal at this point it is more the psycological aspect than the physical. when you are fully adjusted to living with hiv or on medication all will return to normal.

Whew! That's good to know.

How long did it take you go get back into the swing of things? It's been over a year for me, and I'm down to feeling satisfied having sex only twice a week.

G, i started meds more than a year ago and let me tell you there ain't nothing wrong with my sexdrive hubby is keeping me in tune and when he is not here believe you me there is nothing as good porn to releave the urge with some good lube and the hand.

It is a mind set that one has to fix, be happy with who you are and sex can be normal and be enjoyed by both parties in a relationship, condoms can be so much fun specially the coloured ones and the flavoured ones takes sex to a totally new level.

Thanks for the advice Angel. I'll try change my mind set and see what happens.

As for a good hand job, that works find. The truth of the matter is that it usually accounts for one of the two times per week I have sex.

Hi, about 6 months before I was diagnosed with HIV, I suddenly developed total loss of lobito (no interest in sex) I was able to perform if I had too, but it was a chore. I was also in a depression. I went to an endochronologist who did blood work and found that my testostorone was 220 when it should be between 500 and 900 for my age. He gave me an RX for Androgel 5% which I use daily. It has increased my interest once again. After doing a lot of reading on this site, it seems that HIV does sometimes affect your test levels. Also depression seems to play a major role in lack of lobito. Good Luck
