1st of all SORRY for this question... I feel rather embarrassed to ask.... I just wondering how risky can ORAL ANAL SEX..be... in others words for all of you to understand "a black kiss" Is it risky for the "giver" as well as for the "receiver"?? I read somewhere that it could be a risky situation regarding the giver mouth health.... Is it true??? What are the posibillities of getting infected by perfoming this?? Looking forward for your answers....

Not sure I understand what a "black kiss is" with that said iIn the more than twenty-five years of this disease there has only been one case and I do mean one of two people claiming to have contracted the virus from deep kissing. Both these people had serious gum disease with bleeding gums, however it is believed that they were lying. To answer your question, the risk is minimal saliva kills the virus. D

Hey
Kissing, deep or shallow per se, does not pose any significant risk for transmission. In theory it is possible, but then, theory is quite different to a practical situation...
I wouldnt be concerned....

Argie,
I think you are referring to what I know as 'rimming' (oral stimulation of the anus through licking, kissing, tonguing etc .. or just "licking someone's arsehole", as I'd be likely to say if I wasn't in such polite company).
If so, you can rest assured that there are no documented cases of anyone ever having caught, or transmitted, HIV through rimming .. although, as with so many things, there is a very remote theoretical risk if the performing partner has poor oral / dental health AND the receiver is HIV-positive AND has blood in their stools (so still considerably less risk even than regular oral sex).
Other STDs and infectious microscopic organisms from the gut would be more of a risk, which was why I suggested on the other thread that you may want to consider protection against hepatitis (for this activity you would want hepatitis A protection), for both you and your boyfriend.
Some 'experts' (in sexual health, though clearly not the fine art of giving sexual pleasure) advise the use of dental dams (rectangular sheets of latex used in dentistry) when performing or receiving rimming / anilingus - but I think you can safely save that for strangers and do without one of those monstrosities if you are getting down and dirty with your own boyfirend.
Just ask them to have a wash first .. and obviously stay well clear if they have (or have recently had) diarrhoea.
Personally, I do not think you should feel remotely embarrassed about asking, because it is an enchanting activity .. and it was (allegedly) good enough for Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton (and I really wish I hadn't just pictured that) ;)
Mark x

Thanks Mark... you answered my question. I meant RIMMING.... or as you said ANILINGUS... for everyone to understand... licking someone's asshole. So there is a low risk activity.... right?

Hi,
I do admit it was quite difficult to understand the meaning of the question you posted! Anyway, rimming does not pose risk whatsoever as far as HIV concerned!
