Does anyone know if the netherlands can deny you citizenship to NL if you're hiv+. What about if I marry someone who is dutch does that make a difference? Anyone with information would be great.

I do not think you have anything to worry about. Check out the Dutch Embassy's web site http://www.netherlands-embassy.org/

livesinadream, I would suggest contacting the Royal Netherlands Embassy in DC at 202/244-5300. I would think that would be a good place to start.
Best of luck, pozncguy

Of course to go to the Netherlands to stay for more than 90 days you need a work permit, or you could find a Dutch who was willing to marry you in the Netherlands. HIV will be no problem, but seeking entry for the sole purpose of receiving state aid is grounds for deportation in all EU countries, Canada, and the US.
The Dutch are in the midst of an immigration crisis just now, and all applications are being carefully scrutinized.
Good news is that the Dutch, bless them, recognize gay relationships as equal to straight (that is between opposite sexes, imagine). Immigration gets a bit tricky if a legal marriage on Dutch soil does not take place. I would strongly recommend you get an immigration lawyer with experience in Dutch law to help you.
