eye implant for cmv

Has anyone had a vitrasert implant for cmv retinitis? I'm concerned because it's now 2 1/2 weeks after surgery, and my vision is still very cloudy, like someone smeared vaseline over my
right lens. I've been examined 3 times thoroughly, and doctors tell me it will take time for it to settle, it's probably blood in the vitreous fluid. But it's been 2 1/2 weeks and every day, I
wonder if this is the hell I'll be living with.
I'd appreciate hearing anyone else's personal experience.

Usually everything will return to normal in about six weeks. You didn't say what kind of eye drops you are using. If you are using Atropine, it will keep your eye dilated, and make things blurry. Just like when the doctor dilates your eyes in the office. Any blood or other stuff floating around in the eye should go away in a few weeks.
Hang in there a little while longer and you should be fine
