can a hematology blood test detect if you have hiv??? even though it isnt specifically for HIV like the ELISA??? pls answer

Doubtful...an HIV test detects the antibodies a hematology test only counts your red blood cells and platelets...the only way to find out if you have HIV.

You can't diagnose yourself...go see a doctor, you don't even have to see your own...just get an HIV specific test, then you wont guess anymore.
