Hi,
Whereas I no longer live in that "strange country", I was born there and spent 24 years of my life in New York. Since then I've been living in Germany (it's been 21 years now). That said, I keep up with what's going on in the States, and I still vote from abroad (not for Bush - of course!!).
In any case, I would be interested in exchanging experiences.
