Need friendship and Help to overcome loneliness

I have been HIV + since May, 2007. Since my mother passed, it is just so hard for me to adjust and accept the facts. I do take my med & keep all my Dr appts. I just need some friends that I can rely on to chat with, be with, and talk with. In other words, to sort of help change and make my day.
I live in Tampa, Fl and I am desirous of meeting other in the same area. I also don't mind chatting, and talking to others in other states of the US.

I found out I was positive in January 2006, my mother died in October 2003, she was only 50 years old. I would be happy to make a new friend. I live in Tampa, too. I am going to email you. Take care D..

I know how you feel, what I find here in Tampa metro area is there are no activities or meetting groups if there are I have not found them other the metro charities. I come from a state (NY) were there are so many groups to get involved in. I am really thinking about starting my own meeting group. Nothing big but maybe movie night, pot luck night twice a month. If others are interested in something like this in the tampa metro ares please feel free to send me a private message.
