How high a risk is unprotected receptive vaginal sex with ejaculation outside of the body? What is the chance of being infected by precum only? My rapid test was negative at 34 days. I am unsure of my partners status. Penetration lasted some time, but he masturbated to ejaculate. Wow, discussing my sex life with strangers! It just feels safe to say what I need to here. Thanks!

Unprotected sex holds the highest risk with sharing needles second and from mother to child third. Even precum holds the HIV virus and is infectious, contraction from male to female is much more prevalent than the other way around because the type of tissue in the vagina, the virus absorbs much easier that the virus transfer to a male organ. Take your next test at 86 days and don't stress out too much about it because if it were as easy to catch as everyone thinks there would be only the people who live in a bubble who wouldn't be infected.

hi
regards from india
You did put yourself at risk by engaging in unprotected receptive vaginal sex. However the ODDS are on your side of not having contracted HIV, since we do not know the status of the person. Besides no ejaculation took place.
Your 34 day test is quite encouraging, however you need to test again at 12 weeks for a definitive result.
Goodluck and use condoms henceforth!
