Likelihood of contracting HIV

7 weeks ago I made the stupid mistake of having unprotected sex with this girl, a one-night stand. I was having [vaginal] intercourse with the girl for maybe 10 minutes at most, when I felt like I was about to ejaculate, so I pulled out (I wasn't about to make things even worse by possibly getting this girl pregnant).
I saw my doctor, and she said it's less likely for a guy to contract HIV from a girl -- in other words, not nearly as likely as it is for a girl to contract HIV from a guy via vaginal or anal sex, or for two guys having anal sex. I called an HIV hotline, and while the counselor I spoke with emphasized that it is (obviously) still possible to contract HIV through the penis, she agreed that the risk may be less for heterosexual guys -- because the penis is mainly a "one-way valve", as she put it.
My tests for chlamydia and gonnohrea came out clean; although I do carry Hepatitis B (passed down from my mother). I took my 6-week test last week, and am waiting for the results.
Can I get your comments on the likelihood of contracting HIV if this girl was infact, positive? Thank you.

I'm not exactly sure of my status as of yet, but I can tell you that I believe it's 1 in 10,000 per exposure according to the cdc. Men don't get it as easy as women do.

It is a slim chance you may have caught it but considering you are carrying Hep B you should think more about the person you are having sex with and wear a condom.

Please do not take this the wrong way, I am not questioning your facts -- but would you happen to have a website link to that CDC statistic? The reason I am skeptical is because 1 in 10,000 sounds almost too good to be true, ya know? The first thing that comes to mind when I read that stat is, "If that is the case, then why are thousands(?) of new infections continue to occur each year???
Thanks for your response.
Also, I DEFINITELY will always wear a condom in the future. This was a one-time thing...and like I said, it was the dumbest mistake of my life -- hopefully this won't cost me it...

If you know that you have Hep B, you really should be protecting you partners.. and making them aware of it. Play safe for both your and your partners safety.

Hi, don't want to sound rude but AM I the only one here missing the point?? You are so wrapped up in your worry, yet didn't give one d*** thought about the girl getting infected with Hep B FROM YOU!! Why are you worried so much about your helth if you don't care about other's?? Your post made me very angry and I think you are incredibly selfish. GOOD LUCK
