Anne Donnelly
Anne Donnelly co-founded the Treatment Action Network (TAN). TAN is one of the most effective and largest grassroots networks lobbying on HIV/AIDS issues. It focuses on access to HIV treatment and healthcare. Anne also directs Project Inform's participation in AIDSWATCH, the national constituent lobby days in Washington, DC. Project Inform's policy efforts have resulted in increased funding for HIV/AIDS programs, including the AIDS Drug Assistance Program. Additional work has included advocating for structural reform within the AIDS research program at the National Institutes of Health, protection against funding cuts in Medicaid, and expanding health care programs for people living with HIV. Anne Donnelly serves on numerous local and national committees, advisory boards and working groups including: National Organizations Responding to AIDS (NORA), the California HIV Advocacy Coalition, and the National AIDS Drug Assistance Program Working Group. |
