SS Benefits & Retraining Aug 13, 1998 I am no longer able to do my job at my current profession or any other job I have ever done due to physical limitations. CD4 below 100 though not actually feeling ill, just tired and can not be out in sun or even heat for very long. Could still work but need retraining for something else. Can get funding for schooling. Can I get SS Disability benefits while in school? Have doctors orders on not being in present occupation. |

 Since Social Security allows disabled beneficiaries to return to work on a trial basis without losing their disability benefits, they might allow you to return to school. I suggest that you contact the Social Security Administration regarding this. Lynn Franzoi | ||||||||
