|hiv outside the body

I was at school and a paper that was handed out had dry blood on it. I was wondering if i can get hiv if the blood was dry. I don't know if I touched it, but there was nothing on my hand. I could tell the blood was dry though. I don't know if I should be worried or not. Can hiv be passed this way?
Response from Ms. Breuer
No. Since you've asked the question, though, I strongly encourage you to learn more about HIV can be transmitted. The people at the greatest risk of infection are the people who have incomplete or wrong information. So click around in this website and others, and learn what you need to know--please!
