| is chronic hep.c considered a disability? Aug 2, 2001 i have surfed the net to find the answer to this question, everything i have found nearly suggests that maybe it might be but not really, i'm stumped! james |

It is a disability only if it causes a person to be disabled! Namely are they unable to work? due to the illness. Certainly most of the time HepC is asymptomatic so would not cause disability. But if and when it advances to significant liver disease disability would be anticipated. AF | |||||||||
