Hello Doctor, Yesterday i want to a massage parlor and by mistake while she was massaging my back / neck area her nail got trapped in my skin and chipped my skin off a bit. There was no severe bleeding and she continued with the massage. On coming home i checked my self out. There was no sign of severe bleeding however just a small dot like cut that was red but healed looking as if a little blood did come out due to the cut from nails. Today the area is healed but a bit reddish with little or no irritation. Now i am worried if this can lead to any chance of contacting HIV ? Should i get my self tested ? should i worry as i believe a small drop of blood may have come out from the cut and what if she had some thing on her nail that can put me at risk? please let me know.
