| Considering talking a job abroad, particularly in Germany or Argentina Feb 7, 2013 I am considering talking a job abroad, particularly in Germany or Argentina. I do understand that most programs such as Ryan White and the ADAP are useless outside the U.S. borders. I am unclear on how these countries deal with long-term, non-resident workers. Will I have to purchase International Medical Insurance or is there another way? Also, how expensive are these insurance plans? |

Response from Mr. Chambers
Both countries offer a form of national health which you would be eligible for if you qualify to work there. Both offer private insurance which provides better care than the basic government plans. I can't speak to the costs since they vary based on location in the country and your age. A browser search will generate multiple sites that can give you greater detail on both countries.
