Is it possible to find out exactly how long you have the HIV virus Aug 27, 2012 Good day Doctor, Last Friday, we were shocked with the sad news of a family member being HIV positive, however i needed to know if it possile to tell through blood tests how long she has had the virus for, according to her doctor he says over a year, i have been reading on the internet and it says there is no way of knowing exactly how long you have been infected for unless you were getting tested for Hiv regulary. Is this true? |
