| Risk of HIV with insulin needle stick? Feb 29, 2012 While giving an insulin shot to a patient today I accidently stuck the used needle into my finger. The patient did not bleed during the shot but I hit a vein in my finger and it blead very bad. What is my risk of contracting HIV? |
