re: no medical insurance
Feb 22, 2012

re: I am hiv+ and permanently disabled. I get $1169.00 from SSD every month. I do not qualify for Medicaid because of my income.I cannot afford to pay rent, bills and for medication. One month of Atripla costs $ can i afford to live??? PLEASE HELP!!!

The company that markets ATRIPLA has a patient assistance program for people who need this medicine but cannot afford it. Check the website for an application. Or, if you live near an AIDS service organization, you should be able to see a social worker who can help you out. Do not wait 24 months for your Medicare to become active.

Response from Mr. Chambers

More information on patient assistance programs can be found at this website as well as this site. site
